Interior design is really what I want to go for. and I think I will. But the what if’s are going into my head. So dietetics should be a back-up plan. but the problem is this: longer time spent studying science which I plan not to go into unless I seriously can’t get a job in interior design. so do you still think that’ll be a smart move to invest an extra 1.5 years in college?

I’m an international student applying this fall from Thailand. I’m thinking of schools in New York because I have relatives I can stay with in NYC so that would take a burden off me finacially.
But I’m just wondering what schools in the US overall are really well-known for interior design?

I am renting a house and the inside is covered in wood paneling! Does anyone have any cheap & creative ideas on how I can still make my home look nice and modern, rather than old and dull? Color Schemes & decorating tips/websites. Just a little more about the home: A fireplace in the living room, beige carpeting, black coffee table & tv stand. Thanks for the help!!

I have been looking at several schools, and some offer a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and some a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. What is the difference?

I love interior design, and would like to switch to that from computers. Any suggestions on what I should do aside from the typical “take classes” approach.
