I work at an interior design company, and I was wondering what the average salary is for an entry-level administrative assistant in an interior design company.
Im under a two-week trial and at the end of the two weeks I will have to discuss salary, how should I approach it? are there any guidelines? what is the professional way to approach the subject?

I currently have a degree in Graphic Design, but I’ve been considering starting a Wedding planning buisiness or becoming an Interior Designer. I plan to go back to school either way, but I don’t know anyone in these fields. So I’m wondering how hard it is to get into these fields and be succesfull. I have a little experience doing both and think I’d really enjoy either one.

I am a homemaker and I am thinking of taking up interior design, I wonder how much it would cost me..can someone please tell me?

I would preferrably like to order catalogs from them, but a website, etc. would work too.
So far I have found:

-Pier one
-Z Gallerie
My husband and I are moving into a new house and we want to redecorate everything.
Any suggestions on where to find some great and affordable furniture would help out a lot!

I’d like to find an interior design job in LA, but it seems like when I send a resume, I never get any response. Are these people slow to respond, or are they turned off by the fact that I’m from out of state? Help!
